BT WiFi Speed Test – Smart Hub 2, Wi-Fi vs Wired

The Smart Hub 2 broadcasts on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and combines them under one network name, steering devices to the band it thinks is best. Why Is My BT Broadband Slow? Common Causes and Fixes

Work through these in order. They solve most slow BT connections without an engineer visit.

Peak-time pressure. Part-fibre lines and busy cabinets slow down in the evening. If mornings are fine and evenings are not, record both results.
Too much happening at once. Game downloads on a console can swallow an entire Fibre 2 connection. Pause large downloads and re-test.
